Abstract

290,398. Kimber. A. W. March 12, 1927. Two-part couplings.-An electric heating resistance element E is fitted with a pair of contacts T, T<1> at one end of tapering form to fit between converging terminal plates H<1>, H<2> fixed in a box &c. H, the other end E<3> of the element E being supported by a holder B in which is mounted a spring S that presses the contacts T, H<1>, T<1>, H<2> together. The resistance wire is wound on the element E and returns by a central passage E<2>. The contacts may be so arranged and the box H so formed that the element is inserted laterally or from above or below.
