Abstract
253,270. Hunt, A. H. April 3, 1925. Couplings. - A wire is attached to a spade, pin, or other terminal by means of a strip bent to form resiliently connected convergent jaws on the terminal, and an insulating sleeve that slides over the jaws and presses them upon the wire placed between them. A spade terminal a is stamped with a narrow shank c that is bent to form the jaws. The wire e is placed between the jaws which are then pressed together by sliding the sleeve d upon them. A disc-shaped portion b of the stamping is bent to close the end of the sleeve.
