Abstract

239,409. Kvaal, A. Dec. 5, 1924. Wire couplings; binding-posts.- A connecting - member for use in a dividing- box comprises a single member 1 extending through an insulating support 6 and having one end adapted for soldering to a wire, and the other end bent to form a lug 10 for clamping to a wire by means of a screw 4. The latter end may have lateral lugs 9 to grip a nut 8, or the lug 10 may be extended to partially surround and grip the nut. Instead of the nut a lug 11, Fig. 4, may be provided having a screw-threaded hole coaxial with the hole in the lug 10.
