Abstract

Connections.-A number of batteries are connected together by means of closely wound coil springs between the turns of which the strip terminals of the batteries may be pressed. The connector may comprise two coils a formed from a single length of wire as shown in Fig. 1, or one or both battery terminals may be formed integrally with a coil a<1> as shown in Fig. 6. A further modification consists of two coils a' having a common axis and connected by a wire e. Fig. 7 shows another modification in which the terminals of adjacent batteries are connected by a single coil a<3>.
