Abstract
290,091. Hilton, T. Sept. 17, 1927. Block paving. - To provide enclosed spaces 6 for cables, pipes, or the like, beneath roads or footpaths, removable trays or slabs 5 rest on longitudinal supports 3. The supports may be formed of brick, stone, reinforced concrete, or steel pillars, and inverted T-pieces 4 may be employed to support metal trays filled with wood blocks or other road surfacing material. Lifting recesses are provided in the trays. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 16327/89, 20760/98, 129/02, 27982/04, 13428/05, 3181/10, 3868/13, and 278,546.
