Earpieces and attachments.-Relates to telephone earpieces of the type adapted to fit on the helix of the ear without other support. An earrpiece 2, Fig. 6, of standard type is fitted with an attachment 3, Fig. 8, to form the combination shown in Fig. 2. The attachment 3 is removable so that the combination can be fitted either to the right or left ear at will. A tubular member 9, Fig. 8, engages in the meatus of the ear and also in a channel 13 bored to connect with a cross-cut channel 14 leading to a hole 7 which coincides with the sound aperture formed in the earpiece 2. The attachment is fixed to the earpiece by pins 4, Fig. 6, fitted with spring rings 5 engaging in holes 6, Fig. 8. It is held in position by the engagement of a projection or hook 16 behind the forward part of the outer helix of the ear.
