Abstract

289,322. Gibbons, K. M. Sept. 6,1927. V-slot sharpeners.-A knife &c. sharpener con. sists of members 5 rotatably mounted in a holder 1 and provided with flanges or threads 8 of V-shaped cross sec tion, the sides 9 of the flange being inclined to the axis of the member at about 70‹, and an intermediate face 10 being inclined at about 20‹. The members are held in the holder by a screw engaging in the central recessed part of one of the members. A guide piece 4 is provided for use when sharpening scissors.
