V-slot blade sharpeners.-A knife sharpener comprises steel discs a revolvubly mounted in a holder b, which is pivoted to brackets f on a base c. Webs d on the ends of the holder maintain the discs at an angle of 45‹ to the horizontal. The holder can be turned about its pivot to expose the other sides of the disc for use, the knife being sharpened by being drawn through the bight between the discs.
