Abstract

Endless-track vehicles. - Relates to endlesstrack vehicles of the kind in which the rollers 9 are carried on links articulated on a main carrier beam 6 pivoted on or carried by a central axle 1. According to the invention the articulated links 8 are arranged symmetrically on either side of the longitudinal axis of the track, and the articulations comprise trunnions 5, 7 which do not extend across the plane of the rollers, so that the joints do not interfere with the close spacing of the rollers. The beam 6 rotates on spaced trunnions 5 formed in ears 2, 3 secured to the ends of the axle 1 carried by the chassis frame (not shown). Ball bearings may be used instead of plain annular bearings in the trunnions. The arms of the beams 8 may be arranged outside the.beam 6, as shown, or inside.
