Fluid-actuated valves.-A detachable fuel valve unit for the cylinder of an oil engine comprises a valve d, a spring c<4>, and a combined seating and housing member c, the unit being removable from a support having a fuel inlet a<2> by the withdrawal of a screw f seated on a packing g. The fuel flows through passages a<2>, c<6>, c<5> and opens the valve d by its fluid pressure. A screwthreaded abutment e is provided for the end of the valve stem d and adjusted so that the valve d' does not actually contact with, and produce undue wear on, its seat c<3>..
