Annealing; tempering.-In a process for the improvement of iron-beryllium alloys, which may contain other metals, the alloys are quickly cooled in air or by quenching from temperatures above 550‹ C. and then are heated to a temperature of 250-500‹ C. The alloys may be worked mechanically before treatment.
