Annealing; hardening. - The physical properties of nickel-copper-aluminium alloys are varied or improved by heat-treatment which may comprise producing a soft alloy by quenching from 1500‹ F. or over and further treating the product by reheating to various specified temperatures between 600‹ F. and 1800‹ F. and cooling slowly or quickly.
