Dressings. - A sheet of gauze having on one face a loosely adherent covering of fibrous absorbent material has a small margin turned down at each edge. The edges are then folded over to meet at the middle of the sheet, and the sheet is then doubled to form a composite dressing as shown in Fig. 2, the original margins being shown at 7. The covered surface of the gauze is turned inwards. The absorbent material may be paper fibre or purified absorbent cotton. The dressing may be made up into rolls.
