280,926. Siemens - Schuckertwerke Akt.-Ges., (Assignees of Siemens-Schuckertwerke Ges.). Nov. 20, 1926, [Convention date]. Drawings to Specification. Vapour engines.-Power vapour is generated from a substance, e.g. benzol, toluol, petroleum, naphthalene, in which the ratio between the heat of liquid and the heat of evaporation at one atmosphere is greater than 0.2, the liquid being heated at a pressure which exceeds the pressure corresponding to saturated vapour at the temperature of the vapour required. The liquid is then released with the formation of superheated vapour which is used in an engine.
