294,243. Siemens - Schuckertwerke Akt.-Ges. July 22, 1927, [Convention date]. Vapour engines.-In geared-turbine plant for use on aircraft, a working fluid is chosen which has a heat content which is at least 50 per cent less than that of steam at a corresponding pressure, and the solidifying point of which lies below the freezing point of water. Hydrocarbons and toluol are mentioned as suitable substances.
