Eccentrics.-The throw of an eccentric 48, which is in the form of a ring pivoted at 49 to a collar 50 secured to the main driving shaft 3 of a sewing-machine by screws 51, may be adjusted by varying, by means of a screw-driver inserted through an opening 54a in the eccentric strap, the position of a clamping screw 54 in a slot 53 in the eccentric. Radial grooves are formed in the side face of the eccentric to facilitate its adjustment by a screw-driver.
