Bakers' ovens.-In a baker's oven of the kind in which the products of combustion escape through a number of flues opening into a common smoke-box leading to the chimney, each flue connection b has a separate sliding damper d operated by a toothed sector e on a rod f journaled in the front and rear walls of the box, the rod having at its outer end a two-part operating- handle. A pivoted flap s gives access to the flues for cleaning. The handle consists of an inner part l fast on the rod f and a hinge-connected outer part m having a projecting finger m<1>, which is spring-pressed into recesses in a plate o.
