Abstract

278,497. Noble, T. Sept. 9, 1926. Delivery spouts. - A protector for the taps or nozzles fitted to the ends of the delivery pipes of petrol and similar pumps comprises a collapsable shroud 6 of such dimensions and shape as to project beyond and to screen the whole of the nozzle or tap when the pump is out of use and to collapse lengthways whilst screening the filler aperture of the tank when the pump is in use. The construction may incorporate a spiral spring to provide the necessary resilience.
