278,454. Smith, W. S. Garnett, H. J., and Holden, J. A. July 10, 1926. Annealing.-Nickel-iron alloys containing also aluminium and another element may be annealed in the form of a fine wire or thin stampings for two minutes at 880‹ C. in an inert atmosphere such as nitrogen, followed by rapid cooling.
