Abstract
275,677. Serrell, J. P., (Assignee of Farman, H.). Aug. 9, 1927. Radial - flow (unbladed) type; working- fluid supply. -In reaction-driven screw propellers for aviation &c., the rotor combustion chamber C is fed with fuel by a pipe A and with air by a pipe B, and a pipe K supplies additional compressed air to mix with the burnt gases flowing from the chamber C into the nozzle L, both the chamber C and the nozzle L having their longitudinal axes perpendicular to the arms or blades of the propeller.
