Producers.-In a combined gas-producer and steam boiler of the kind described in Specification 243,092, [Class 51 (i), Furnaces and Kilns, Combustion apparatus of], the lower part of the producer is provided with a water jacket t which may communicate with the boiler or serve to heat water which is afterwards pumped to the boiler. Water is also supplied from the jacket through the pipe y to the primary air conduit z.
