Rotary sieves.-Apparatus for screening granular material such as ore and coal comprises inner and outer rotary screens 1, 2 driven at equal peripheral speeds by a toothed pinion 7 gearing with internally and externally toothed bands of which the Ditch line is the same as the circumference of the screens to which they are secured. Preferably the axes of the screens are offset from each other, and the screens are supported on pairs of rollers 6, 4.
