Tyre attachments to rims. - A detachable rim comprises a continuous side flange 10 having a wedge-shaped bead 12 at its inner edge to seat in a corresponding groove 13 in a rim part 14 which is split obliquely and with a stepped joint in the flange 15. As shown in Figs. 6 and 10, the cut across the rim-part 14 comprises a portion 19 extending across the base and about half-way up the flange 15, a circumferentially-extending portion 22, and a portion 20, the portions 19, 20 being oppositely-inclined to a radial line 23 as seen in Fig. 6. The portions 19, 20 may be formed by saw-cuts and the portion 22 then produced by a shearing-operation. The inner diameter of the part 10 is, preferably, less than the normal diameter of the outer wall 16 of the groove 13.
