Abstract

Stereogrammetric apparatus.-In hand plotting machines for survey photographs in which the motions of the measuring device takes place in two planes at right angles, the movement are distributed so that motion of the image carriers takes place in one plane and the motion of the inlet reflectors of the measuring telescope in the other plane. This is effected by the provision of an intermediate body 14 which is slidable along an axis 3 without rotation, by which movements may be transmitted to the reflectors in a vertical plane. The guide 1 is pivoted to the lever 12 and mounted in a frame 1 in the vertical shaft 3 by which the image carrier is rotated about the front principal point of the lens 9 and may be clamped in position on the lever 12 by the nut 13. The vertical component of the movement of the guide 1 is transmitted by lever 12 intermediate body 14 and lever 17 to the reflector 20 and the horizontal component is transmitted to the image carrier 2 by the axle 3, as shown. The points of contacts 22, 23 of the movable body 14 with the levers 12, 17 are equidistant from the vertical axis 3. The lower part of the body 14 consists of a circular ring against which the lever 12 bears, and is at right angles to the axis. A spindle 15 is fitted to prevent rotation of a body 14.
