269,845. Arnesen, G., and Bech, P. A. April 26, 1926, [Convention date]. Plastic compositions containing sawdust &c. and cement.-A building-material is composed of sawdust, wood chips, or other waste from sawmills with cement as a binder, calcium oxychloride being added to impregnate the wood and aid cohesion. The fibre may first be treated with the oxychloride before the addition of the cement, or the materials may be mixed dry and sufficient water added to reduce to the proper consistency for casting in moulds. The material may be strengthened by the addition to the mixture of active silica such as trass or powdered brick.
