[Classes 22 and 70] A cementitious composition or concrete is made by mixing untreated sawdust, wood fibre or like material and Portland cement, aluminous cement or the like, and gauging with a solution of rock salt, preferably of 7-12 degrees Beaume concentration. For example, 2 to 4 parts of ordinary untreated sawdust and one part of Portland cement by volume are mixed thoroughly and a solution of rock salt is added. The concrete may be reinforced with untreated timber rods.
