Dry processes of extracting nickel; alloys.-A process for obtaining nickel or ferro-nickel from nickeliferous materials such as oxides, scales, or ores, consists in melting the raw material with iron which reduces the nickel and in subsequently increasing the production of nickel in the product either by oxidation of the iron therein or by adding the product repeatedly to further nickeliferous material.
