Cables, arrangement and disposition of parts of. - A copper condenser for electric power cables consists of a plurality of stranded round section wires, the wires in the successive layers having the same pitch, and the circular cross-section of the stranded conductor being obtained by using wires of different diameters suitably distributed. Fig. 3 shows an arrangement of wires of different diameters. In the arrangement shown in Fig. 4, the outer. layer contains wires both larger and smaller in diameter than the wires forming the inner layers.
