Abstract
267,775. Naamlooze Vennootschap Werf Conrad. June 30, 1926, [Convention date]. Endless-chain machines.-In a dredger in which the ladder is provided with floats at its lower end, two hoisting devices are provided, one acting while the floats are wholly or mainly submerged and the other acting independently or conjointly with the first device to hoist the ladder when the floats are wholly or mainly above the water level. As shown, the ladder has lateral floats 5 and lower floats 6, the floats 6 having passages 7 through which stones &c. pass. Lifting tackle 11 is used while the floats are submerged. After partly raising the ladder, eyes 8 on the latter are attached to the piston rods of hydraulic cylinders 10 which complete the lifting either alone or together with the tackle 11.
