Idler rollers for endless-belt conveyers. - A rope, chain, &c. 9 is passed through clamping devices 7 carried by the roller frames 1 and when taut maintains the frames in position. When the rope is slackened, the frames may be moved. The clamping device may comprise a curved channel 8 formed in the block 7, or a series of pins 17, Fig. 7.
