Clamps for securing boots during hand cleaning operations.-The boot or shoe is supported by a plate 1 and the heel is gripped, front and rear, between a pivoted bifurcated member 6 and a jaw 9 carried by a nut 10 which is actuated by a screw 11. The jaw slides through a slot 14 in the base plate. The appliance may be secured either to a. horizontal or to a vertical support.
