Vehicle lamps; mounting electric lamps in lanterns.- In a vehicle lamp, the electric - lamp bulb-holder B which carries the central part C of the reflector is axially slidable and can be retracted for preventing glare by means of Bowden wire apparatus K in opposition to a spring J so that part of the light passes into the space between the lamp casing H and the main part D of the reflector. Fig. 2 shows an adapted for connecting the Bowden wire to the bulb-holder. Specifications 13208/12 and 185,109 are referred to.
