264,304. White, A. E., (Assignees of Thermiodyne Research Laboratories, Inc.). July 21, 1925. Thermionic amplifiers.- In a radio-frequency amplifier a condenser 22 is connected between the plate and filament of the valve 10 and in parallel therewith a second condenser 23, having a smaller capacity than the condenser 22, and an inductance 24. The circuit 22, 23, 24 may be tuned by adjustment of condensers 22, 23 by a single manual control. A radio-frequency choke 21 is included in the plate current supply. In a modification the output instead of being connected across the coil 24 is through a transformer the secondary of which is tuned by a variable condenser and fixed condensers are used in place or the variable condensers 22, 23.
