Abstract

329,118. Kolster-Brandes, Ltd., and Green, F. V. A. April 15, 1929. Thermionic amplifiers.-In a thermionic amplifier comprising a pair of valves in push-pull coupled by an auto-transformer to the preceding stage a resistance or choke is connected between the anode of the preceding valve and its current supply to prevent steady polarizing current from traversing the windings of the auto transformer. The Figure shows an auto transformer T1 having a primary winding P3, P4 in the output circuit of the valve V1, a condenser Cl being provided to isolate the transformer from the anode supply current of the valve VI.
