Abstract
262,624. Warren, M. Jan. 28, 1926. Hand stamps.-A hand-stamp comprises a set or endless type-carrying bands a printing in conjunction; with a die plate f, which is carried by parallel arms g provided with L-shaped slots i engaging screws j whereby the plate f may be moved in a straight line away from the types a and then swing out laterally to allow access to the types a for resetting. The arms g embrace a U-shaped member b having a handle d; also, they are guided in flanges c acting as rests for the plate f, the flanges having slots to allow the final lateral movement of the plate f. The type bands a are arranged on a drum k<1> adjustably secured in position by means of the screws j, which pass through slots n in the member b. A projection o at one side of the drum k<1> engages a guide slob p in one arm of the member b. The types a project through a slot q which is bevelled to align the types.
