Abstract
709,344. Book-keeping appliances; sheetclamping devices. STIEGLER, J.. [trading as TAYLORIX ORGANISATION, STIEGLER, HAUSSER & CO.], July 17, 1951 [Nov. 6, 1950], No. 16955/51. Addition to 672,932. Classes 16 and 146(1) A sheet clamping device as described in the parent Specification is constructed such that keys 15a, 16a, and 17a. for operating, through levers 15, 16, and 17, bar s for clamping account, journal, and carbon leaves respectively, may be pressed downward simultaneously by one finger; the keys 16a and 17a are disposed in transverse registration to each other, while the key 15a is disposed adjacent the keys 16a and 17a, but displaced in the longitudinal direction of the cover plate 3. As shown, the key 16a overlaps the account lever 15, so as to depress the latter when pressed downward. The levers 15, 16, and 17 are rocked about a fulcrum 18 which may be integral with the cover plate 3.
