Rotary mixers.-A concrete mixer is provided with a bucket wheel elevator at each end of the drum, one of which raises the material to a loading hopper, while the other receives the mixed concrete from a movable discharge shoot and raises it to a further shoot delivering the concrete from the machine. The loading hopper N, fed by the elevator F, is provided with a stop 0, on the removal of which the materials are fed to the mixing drum G. On moving the shoot P to the position P<1> the mixed concrete is discharged into the second elevator H which raises it to the second shoot Q. The drum is supported on rollers on either side, those on the full side being driven.
