Abstract

256,521. Barnhill, J. M. Aug. 20, 1925, [Convention date]. Wowen's hats.-A reversible hat has a double brim, the two thicknesses of which are not attached to each other at their outside edges, and is adjustable for size of head. To allow this adjustment, the brims each comprise strips the end portions of which are not attached to the crown but comprise free tabs, one of which is passed through a slot 20 in the other when the hat is worn. One brim may be turned up for the whole or part of its length while the other may be turned down. The brims are of different colours, and one may be narrower than the other. The hat is of flexible material. The crown may be in one or more pieces.
