Abstract

397,985. Hats. CROWDEN, G. P., 7, Heather Walk, Edgware, Middlesex. May 25, 1932, No. 14895. [Class 63.] A helmet, silk hat, single or double felt hat, straw hat, or other like head-covering is provided with a fixed lining 2 of polished metal foil or other bright metallic material, and a drop lining 3 which is spaced from the interior of the helmet and from the wearer's head. The drop lining 3 consists of fabric or like material provided on each side with a surface of bright metallic surface, such as metal foil, and is secured to the helmet crown by a ventilater 8 and at its lower edge 9 by the fabric lining 10 of the helmet brim.
