Axle-trucks and bogies.-In a bogie of the type in which the axle boxes are connected with beams through which the load is transmitted to the boxes and which are connected to the boxes below the axes of the axles, means for supporting the beam 5 comprise an axle box 1 having at least two downwardly extended portions 2 between which the beam can be inserted from below and from which it is supported by a horizontally sliding block 3. The end of the beam may be provided with a pin 6 adapted to slide between guides 7 and the underside may be convex in shape to rock on the block 3. The height of the beam 5 may be adjusted by means of a washer inserted between it and the block 3.
