Abstract

254,800. Salerni, A. G. April 9, 1925. Sheet feeding and guiding arrangements. - In arrangements comprising feed-rollers and a sheet - metal apron co-operating with the platen, the feed-rollers are released by means of one or more rocking cams or eccentrics which are mounted on a spindle on the apron and abut on the carriage. An apron 1 of spring sheet metal is provided with a spindle 5 carrying feed-rollers and eccentrics 6 abutting on the end plates 8 of the carriage 3. The apron is secured to a plate 9 secured by screws 10 to the carriage. A spring plate 2 secured by the screws has recesses for the feed-rollers and a groove engaging the spindle. On depressing a crank 7 on the spindle the eccentrics depress the spindle and the feed-rollers are released.
