Abstract

272,390. Cohnheim, S. Dec. 3, 1926. Stencilling-apparatus.-Relates to stencil copying-apparatus of the kind comprising a frame a, Fig. 1, hinged to a base c, and formed of two nested sections, having interengaging tongues and grooves h, between which is clamped a gauze sheet f. Packing-pieces o are provided, which, together with the hinges l, so support the frame that the gauze is maintained at a small distance from the platen k, whereby smearing of the paper is prevented. Paper-guides, in the form of steel bands q, Fig. 2, are stretched across the platen, and are held by U-shaped claws r, tension being applied by blade-springs s. The side-members of the frame a are recessed to provide a guide for the inking-rollers.
