Abstract

253,033. Mair, H. B. Feb. 11, 1926. Springs, arrangement of; guiding vertical play.-Relates to suspension system for perambulators and of the type in whch the axles pass through slotted cylindrical boxes secured to the body and carrying shock and rebound springs arranged above and below the axles. Each spring box 1 is inserted between the ends of a U-shaped bracket 4 secured to the body 5, the bracket, as shown, being mounted in a well 6 in the body. The springs 2, 3 are arranged above and below a part cylindrical lug 10 on the axle 7 which closely fits the box and prevents lateral movement of the axle, while rotation of the axle is prevented by the member 11 secured to the axle.
