Abstract

303,766. Ehrhard, H. A. Oct. 8, 1927. Securing arms on shafts. - In means for directing a headlight 1 from the adjacent front wheel of a motor vehicle, a rod 15, mounted rotatably on the lamp spindle 6, passes through a horizontal slot in a box 16, fixed on the spindle, and is connected by a link with the brake drum or other part in fixed connection with the stub-axle so that the lamp is rotated only alfer a predetermined movement of the front wheel. The lamp is returned to the normal position as by means of opposed springs provided between the rod 15 and the box 16. The rod 15 may be provided with shock-absorbing devices 19 and a brake-spring 21.
