Abstract
613,001. Vehicle suspensions. SCANZI, G. V., and NAVARINI, G. Nov. 3,1939, No. 29277. [Classes 108 (ii) and 108 (iii)] The body of a vehicle is supported by independently movable transverse levers D, D mounted on torsion springs L, L<SP>1</SP> and pivoted at their free ends to bars B, B<SP>1</SP> connected to the wheel axles. A torsion spring may consist of a number of blades secured to the vehicle body at one end and to a lever D, D<SP>1</SP> at the other end, or to the body at both ends and to a lever intermediately. A lever may be connected to its associated torsion spring through an adjustable head.
