251,835. Pollard, A. Nov. 17, 1925. Surface markings.-A distinctive line or mark on a road tennis court, or like ground surface is formed by filling a channel with coloured grouting material 2 and reinforcing the material by an embedded horizontal member having one or more vertical projections which terminate flush with the ground surface. The grout is preferably formed of light-coloured spar or granite, mixed with cement, and the reinforcement may take the form of an inverted T- section metal bar 3, Fig. 1: or a flat metal bar furnished with a series of pegs 4, Fig. 4, may be employed.
