Windscreens.-For securing a windscreen in an adjusted position a fixed tubular socket houses a clamping bolt which passes through a tubular pin and has a screw-threaded connection with a clutch member, the bevelled face of which coacts with the bevelled end of the tubular pin on which the windscreen is mounted. As shown, the tubular pin 12 through which the clamping bolt 15 passes to engage the nut 12b, serves as a support for the screen 5 positioned behind the front seat 14 of the vehicle. When the bolt is tightened, the bevelled faces slide over one another and effect a transverse displacement of the parts 12, 12<b> so that they bind against the lining of the member 13. The bolt is loosened to adjust the screen, when the part 12 is free to be moved in the tubular socket until the screen is in the desired position.
