Lateral-splash guards of the type depending from the hub cap of the wheel of a vehicle comprise in combination with a ball or roller bearing mounted on a stud B projecting outwardly of the hub cap A a depending arm C provided with a series of holes, a triangular frame D provided with a corresponding series of holes to secure the frame D adjustably to the depending arm C by means of studs or bolts d, and a strip or sheet E of indiarubber divided into vertical fingers e. As shown in Fig. 2, two strips E of rubber may be employed.
