Lateral-splash guards. -The guard proper F, Fig. 1, of reinforced rubber, leather or bristles &c., is carried by hangers E carrying rollers D, which run on a circular race-way G fixed to the road wheel. The rollers D may be single or in pairs, and the rollers and race-way may have different forms, instances of which are shown in Figs. 7, 10 and 11. The rollers may have ball bearings.
