248,931. Bethell, T. P. March 24, 1925. Boxes made from special blanks; handles. -In a box or case made from a single cardboard or like blank wherein flaps are arranged to form a handle and at the same time to lock the box, the handle is formed by a pair of flaps W, W<1> which extend the whole width of the case and are provided with registering apertures for the fingers, the part T cut out to form one of the apertures forming a tongue which engages in the other aperture T' to lock the case. The handle may be formed on a broad side or top of the case, basket-like, as shown, or on a narrow side as in an attache case. The box may be provided with partitions.
